Job Summary:
The Manager, Public Relations is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing global external communications and public relations activities to proactively promote the CSA Group brand, global reputation and key business objectives. Acts as a front-line media relations contact and spokesperson for the organization. Directs and executes global/regional communications and public relations campaigns and events targeting print, online, broadcast and social media. Leads the development and execution of CSA Group’s employer brand and corporate social responsibility programs. Leads cross-functional teams to execute various elements of public relations plans.
Responsibilities:

Develops and executes high-level, strategic communications and public relations plans and campaigns designed to support global business strategies and increase overall global public awareness of CSA Group brand, innovative products and services and key business objectives. Collaborates on global business plans to promote new global/regional business initiatives, products and services.

Leads relationship with CSA Group’s external communications agency partner(s).

Identifies and executes media and speaking opportunities to position CSA Group proactively with media outlets and external stakeholders to increase brand recognition and public awareness of the organization.

Creates and conducts innovative PR campaigns and events to promote and leverage the brand and service offerings with clients, the public and stakeholders and in alignment with company-driven global/regional marketing and digital media campaigns.

Creates and develops innovative multi-media tactics to raise awareness of CSA Group and attract world-class talent to the organization.

Coordinates CSA Group’s corporate social responsibilities activities.

Researches, writes and edits a wide variety of communications materials (news releases, key messages, FAQ, statements, speeches, presentations, etc.).

Acts as CSA Group’s front-line media relations contact and, when required, spokesperson. Coaches internal spokespersons on media interview techniques.

Fosters corporate relations with key stakeholders by communicating joint opportunities that will highlight partnerships through proactive media and public relations. Coordinates with stakeholders regarding tactics on potentially negative public issues in the media that may affect both parties and additional stakeholders, and jointly develop mutually-beneficial communications strategies.

Produces and develops materials for issues and crisis media management in a dynamic environment. Delivers appropriate responses to the media, within established corporate policies and guidelines and, using judgment on the urgency and sensitivity of the media call, ensures response in an accurate and timely fashion.

Monitors global media impressions and ROI for the organization. Works in close co-operation with external suppliers across the globe.
