Qualifications:
Two (2) years successfully completed post-secondary education in Business, Public Relations and/or Marketing
Minimum of four (4) years successful experience demonstrating the ability to do the following:
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and effectively prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
- Develop, plan and execute marketing and communications campaigns.
- Proven experience in managing strategic digital and social media platforms and campaigns.
- Broad understanding of advertising planning and management, and working with external vendors.
- Strong understanding of digital media marketing, social media and interpreting analytics.
- Solid understanding of media relations, media management, writing and coordinating news conferences.
- Creative eye with exposure to graphic design work and visual identity solutions.
- Strong written skills and proficiency in Canadian Press (CP) style.
- Experience in budget management.
- Familiar with video production and editing, along with editing software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite and SharePoint, and a familiarity with Adobe suite, WordPress and Drupal will be considered an asset.
