The Melbourne Mandate offers PR educators an innovative approach to classroom discussions on public relations theory and practice. Jean Valin APR, FCPRS LM, Past Chair of the Global Alliance and Amy Thurlow PhD, APR, public relations educator at Mount Saint Vincent University discussed the mandate, what it means for PR practice, and what it offers to educators in the PR classroom. It was a lively discussion of the Mandate as a tool, a discussion point, a resource and a blueprint for PR educators and practitioners.
