About Steve
Starting with a one-person firm, Steve Parker has built one of Canada's largest independent Public Relations Consulting Firms. He has also developed an Ad Agency, Major Contact Centre, a Translation Service, a Production Company, and is a Partner in a Leading Research Firm. The CCL Group has grown to over 500 employees and is an organization with national interests in strategic marketing and communications.
As founder of the CCL Group, Steve has been named one of Atlantic Canada's Top 50 CEOs by Atlantic Business Magazine five times and is a member of The Top 50 CEO Hall of Fame.
He is an accredited member of the Canadian Public Relations Society, and was appointed to the CPRS College of Fellows in June 2004. He has received the Society's major prizes for outstanding contributions to public relations in Canada (Novikoff Award) and for distinguished service in the public interest (Shield of Service Award).
Steve is a regular speaker across Canada to client and professional groups and was a keynote speaker at National CPRS conference in PEI. Based in Halifax, NS, Steve travels regularly to New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Toronto, ON.
