About Carol
Carol Panasiuk is the General Manager for Cohn & Wolfe/Toronto. She first joined Cohn & Wolfe in November 1989 as the senior manager responsible for the management of corporate and marketing communications programs for a wide range of companies. Carol has been highly successful in ensuring that Cohn & Wolfe develops creative, integrated public relations programs that deliver strong, measurable results for clients in the technology, consumer marketing, financial services, healthcare and other industry sectors.
Carol's work with Cohn & Wolfe and previous work with Burson-Marsteller has given her the opportunity to work with a variety of clients in a number of industries including: Lever Bros., Hallmark Cards, Ault Foods, The Terry Fox Run, Procter & Gamble, Compaq Canada, Royal Canadian Mint, and Deloitte Consulting.
She has also worked on government relations programs, advocacy advertising, and proactive media relations campaigns to help clients position themselves and their products. Crisis communications, issue management and crisis preparedness planning are also part of her portfolio.
Carol is an accredited member of the Canadian Public Relations Society and has won numerous awards from that organization and the International Association of Business Communicators, for her outstanding work on behalf of clients. She recently served as treasurer/secretary on the CPRS/Toronto board of directors.
